Shane D'Aprile,
Director, AU

Shane is the founder of OLC, Shane has worked in the International Freight Forwarding and Logistics arena’s for over 20 years.
His experience includes:

  • Senior roles within Freight forwarding and Domestic Logistics service providers providing FCL, LCL, Air, 3PL and Transport services. These roles included commodities such as FMCG, Dangerous goods and Cool Chain products.

  • Logistics roles for market leading importers supplying some of the world’s best known foodservice brands along with hotels and venues. And multinational chemical companies.

  • Shane has worked for WiseTech Global (Formerly CargoWise, a world leader in Supply Chain software). 

  • Consulted a global law firm as an expert witness on an industry related case.

Sandi Carter,
Director, NZ

Sandi joined the OLC team in May 2017.

 

Sandi's first experience in Logistics was wtih a Cartage company.

She then joined a customs brokerage company and became a licensed Customs Broker for an International Forwarder 

 

Sandi loved the software she used as a broker so much that she wound up working for eleven years with WiseTechGlobal (previously CargoWise and edi) as an Account Manager for edi, an Account Executive for CargoWise and Translogix and then as a  Business Development Executive for WiseTech Global.

 

Her passion for encouraging people to explore their options to get more out of their software, and to re-evaluate how to achieve more from their business has led her to OLC as director of our New Zealand company. 

 

Sandi's experience includes

  • Senior role with an International Freight Forwarder

  • Implementation and training of software

  • Workflow establishment and review

Carsten Steinmetz,
Director, UK

Carsten founded Difference Delivered, a UK based WSP who, in June 2017, became part of the OLC Brand.

 

Carsten started his career as an apprentice at a multi-national logistics company in Germany, where he learned all aspects of logistics and freight forwarding. Three years later, he joined a regional freight forwarder and customs broker with offices in the southeast United States in 2002. 

 

His experience includes:

  •  Bachelor’s in Economics, Syracuse University

  • MBA, Fuqua School of Business, Duke University

  • Fluent in English and German

  • Former CEO, Freight Forwarder in Southeast U.S.

  • Over 17 years experience in logistics

Holly Scott,
Director, US

Holly spent her first two years in domestic cartage, truckload brokerage and freight forwarding before going on to general management at Exel Global Logistics. She later led a global project to integrate Exel Global and North American Logistics companies, designing process changes,  managing customer data migration, software requirements and training programs. After Exel were acquired by DHL global forwarding, Holly stayed on to manage central region operations.

Along with  2 years at WiseTech Global as a manager for the Americas Region, her  most recent roles include  International Portfolio manager at Yusen Global Logistics and Director of Process Innovation at AIT Worldwide Logistics.

Holly is currently based in Chicago, Illinois

Her experience covers 20 years in the industry  and includes:

 

·       Domestic and International Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Distribution

·       Executive Management

·       IT Management

·       Project and Portfolio Management

·       A genuine desire to  solve business problems through people, process and technology

Kate Godsiff,
Senior Consultant

Kate joined the OLC team at the end of May 2017. Kate brings over 12 years industry experience to the team for both global and local organizations.


Kate's experience and passion for the industry was a natural fit for OLC. Kate brings project management, global system administration and previous experience in her own Application Consultancy business. Her specific experience includes :

  • 5 years as CargoWise One Systems Administrator

  • Business Applications Consultancy Services – Owner/Administrator – Consultation & Implementation on CargoWise One program 

  • 12 years CargoWise One experience

Anthony Brennan,
Master Consultant

Anthony joined the OLC team in 2016. Anthony is a licensed Customs Broker with over 15 years International Freight forwarding and logistics experience.


His commitment to his clients and the OLC passion of delivering solutions in software and productivity made him a perfect fit for our team, his experience includes;

As a Branch Manager for a medium sized Freight forwarder and Logistics provider Anthony was directly responsible for the implementation and management of several projects including:

  • Application, setup and management of a Customs and Quarantine Depot

  • Workflow management, design, installation and integration

  • Consulting in areas of system improvement and integration

  • Setup, training and development of a successful back office support operation

Claire Brotherton,
Senior Consultant

Claire joined the OLC team in August 2017. Claire has been in freight her entire working life, beginning as a junior, and growing into senior operational roles as her career and talent grew. Her roles were for both Global and local NZ companies.


Claire's operational acumen and logistics was a perfect compliment for our team. Claire brings sound NZ and global operations experience across all modes.

Her specific experience includes :

  • 15 years+ on WiseTech Global Products

  • 17 years industry experience

  • Management of Offshore teams

  • Management and creation of Business process

Caitlin Koch,
Senior Consultant

Caitlin’s operational background has equipped her with broad industry knowledge that covers air and ocean freight forwarding, US Customs Brokerage, and warehouse distribution- all using the CargoWise One software platform. Her system expertise eventually led to her most recent role supporting all CargoWise related projects for a US Based global logistics company. Caitlin’s ability to assess and solve business problems combined with a passion for excellence and continual improvement make her a serious asset to the OLC US team and our client base. Caitlin's experience includeds

  • Air and Ocean freight forwarding, Dangerous Goods, Customs Brokerage

  • Warehouse distribution and fulfillment

  • System Implementation

  • Customer Onboarding projects

Ashley Gibbins,
Senior Consultant

Ashley Gibbins joined the OLC team in July 2018 and has over 20 years experience in International Freight Forwarding.

Ashley has worked in many roles during this time, starting as an operator then moving into various senior management roles. His passion for achieving efficiencies by utilising the power of CargoWise has been a great success story in these roles.

 

Ashley’s experience includes:

  • 20 years on WiseTech Global Products.

  • 20+ years in International Freight Forwarding (Air, Sea and Warehousing).

  • Implementation of new CW databases, and merging of CW databases.

  • 4 years as I.T Manager.

  • 15 years as Branch Manager.
